Description
Join us as the Cleveland alumni chapter of Case Western Reserve University admires Frank Lloyd Wright’s Weltzheimer/Johnson House in Oberlin.
Completed in 1950, the Weltzheimer/Johnson House is Wright’s first Ohio home to feature his Usonian design, which was intended for middle-class life in the post-World War II era. The opportunity to view these homes is limited, since few are open to the public.
Alumni and guests will be treated to light refreshments in the home’s kitchen prior to being led on a private tour of the space by alumnus docent, Fred Unwin (WRC'76). Ample time will be provided for discussion and questions.
Registration closes Tuesday, June 23. We look forward to seeing you there.
